Safe and Sound Week 2021

​At B and B Maintenance, Inc. you—our talented and dedicated workers—are our biggest asset, and it’s our responsibility to ensure that you go home to your family and loved ones safe and healthy every day. That’s why we’re participating in Safe + Sound Week, August 9-15, 2021, to show our commitment to safety. Safe + Sound Promotional Week
Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs in workplaces. During the entire week, we are hosting Safe and Sound activities that shows how we keep our workplace safe through management leadership, worker participation, and finding and fixing hazards. 
How can you participate in Safe + Sound week? There are many ways! Workers and management have to balance their respective roles that encompass Safe + Sound week. Each employee can find their own niche contributions, and each individual participation is welcome!
Because a safe workplace is what makes us a sound business, we encourage all workers to participate in this Safe and Sound week, with the full cooperation of management. You are the experts when it comes to the tasks that you do and the tools and equipment that you use. You are valued partners in making our workplace safer by helping us find and fix hazards before someone gets hurt.

 Congratulations to Angela Tingler on winning the Safe + Sound 2020 Hazard Reporting Event!  Angela reported the most safety hazards and found ways to fix them all!  Great job finding those safety hazards then working with the necessary people to get the hazards repaired!  Angela is a perfect example of a "Safety First Supervisor!"  Keep up the hard work!

Safe + Sound Hazard Reporting

During this week's Safe + Sound Week, the entire company will be able to participate in the Safe + Sound Hazard Reporting activity!
How to Play
  • Be on the lookout for workplace hazards!  A few examples would be, missing chemical labels, missing SOP poster, broken steps, interior/exterior lights are out, etc.
  • Once you find a hazard, REPORT the hazard using the Safe + Sound Hazard Reporting Form!
  • The staff member with the most submissions will win a prize!  (Name will be posted here on Monday, August 19)​
  • Submissions MUST be submitted by 8/14/20 @ 11:59pm
